TAKEN!

Wow....what a movie! Dh took Lydia and me to see a movie today....

Actually, I invaded on a date he had with Lydia...lol....she wanted him to take her to see Taken...OH MY HEAVENS.....all I gotta say, is make sure you go to see this movie WELLLLLLL rested! You will be exhausted after it is over! I sat at the edge of my see the whole time. And I will NEVER let my daughter travel anywhere without her dad! LOL!

Anyway...we are home and I'm just chillin, trying to find some mojo...if anyone has any send it my way would ya!?

In the mean time, I did have a little last week and here are a few of my creations from that...
This one I did for part of the ASF Weekly Dare...a layout about ourselves...I did this to remind me to be still...that is soooo hard!

This one has some pictures that Reva took around Grandma's house...all of these items hold a special place in my childhood memories!

Been a while....

Since I shared any layouts! So...how about 2 I did from the January Love Is In the Air kit from Scrapbook Heaven.

Friday Goodie!

Okay...I just can't get enough of the January Royal kit from Queen Kat Designs....I LOVE every thing about it. The colors, the stamps, the everything!

I realized as I looked through my cards the other day looking for a birthday card for my daughter to give to a friend that I am wayyyy short on birthday cards! So...I whipped this one up to add to my stash! Think I'll do a few more from this kit for birthdays!

New Year and a NEW Day

Just a quick post to start 2009 off! Hope you all have a wonderful 2009 and are blessed beyond measure! Did you do anything fun to bring the new year in?

My wonderful hubby and I just spent it together, upstairs....quiet and peaceful. We watched out the window as the neighbors gave us a beautiful fireworks show and enjoyed each others company...I am truly blessed with this man!

Whhhooo....I'm tired....

Are you? We hit the after Christmas decoration sales today...all I gotta say is that the village next year will be WOW!!! I can't wait to see it alllll together! I think I got about 4 more bigger pieces and 4 smaller and several bitty....

We did some exchanging....and then we tried to go back to EB Games....can you say CROWDED!!!!! Oh my! So we decided that we should go back tomorrow morning....most of the folks will go in the afternoon....so if we try morning hopefully the line won't be huge!

Need to run to HL also and Adison has one more place on his list. THEN the fun begins....I get to move my scrappin/stampin stuff UPSTAIRS! Can you say EXCITED!!! I just don't know what I have to actually scrap on....I think we need to run to the thrift stores or something...hmmmm.....I know this will be an adventure and I'm super excited....maybe in a few weeks I'll get to post some pics! Or maybe I'll do a slow progression of pictures....hmmmm.....

Okay, so Reva STRATIGICALLY placed all the presents....lol....it really isn't that much! She just made it LOOK big!

Of course we went looking at lights on Christmas Eve! That is a HUGE tradition for us! So fun....this was really the only fun house we saw this year though....

And last but NOT least....Reva got this WONDERFUL shot of them all on our way to the Christmas Eve service! Adison even wore a suit! LOL.....while we were driving looking at lights he ate a donut...and his statement was 'I'm eating a donut in a business suit, I am important!' What a hoot that kid is!

YEA!!! Good STUFFF!!!

I'm so excited!!! I was invited to check out a great site by my friend Lee.....it is called Scrapbook Heaven. The site is super friendly and lots of my friends from 4Scrappy Sisters are there! I first participated in their 12 Days of Christmas Crop and through that learned a lot of neat little ideas and made a BUNCH of fun things for my home for the Holidays. Well....all the time I was there I kept looking at the DT Calls....they were having one for layout kit designers and for card kits designers. I finally decided to submit. AND to my SURPRISE I made it as one of two Card Kit Designers!!! There are some fantastic artists on there! So to say that I am honored would be an understatement!

So...what are you waiting for! Come stop by and join us! On the 14th we have a Thank You Mini Card Crop! Woohooo!

To have bad days? Yup....we are! I've had a few rough ones...but know what....It ISN'T ABOUT ME is it!?!?

So....I hereby resolve to not get so caught up in it.....(until I have another bad day! HAA)

How about some neat pictures from my girl in Arkansas? Wanna see some BEAUTIFUL sites? I know when she brought me this CD and I uploaded the pictures I was drawn in to be reminded of the beauty of Arkansas.....and then to have her take them makes them even more BEAUTIFUL!



By the way...the guy in the pictures (yes...he is even hanging from the tree in one of them...is her 'friend'....we have heard quite a bit about him too.....hmmmmm.....

Anyway....Arkansas is so beautiful....I know every state has its beauty....but sometimes it is refreshing to see it!

I so don't do this.....
